This is a private New Year’s Eve party for about 200 of our closest friends and neighbors, held at the EGWC. It’s going to be lit.

The cost is $75 per person – this is strictly to cover the cost of the party.

What kind of music?

Both kinds.

The cocktail hour will feature a Live Jazz Swing Band with classic numbers you can dance to or enjoy while socializing.

The Silent Disco will feature 3 Live DJs spinning their custom individual mixes of music to fill the dance floor. Not one genre or playlist, but an adaptive party as the DJs react to what gets the most listeners. You won’t just hear the same tired wedding reception DJ playlist at this party. This shit is for real.

You’ll probably hear everything from retro hip-hop, 80’s hits and 90’s pop, to recent EDM and club music. Something at this party will get your ass on the dance floor.

What is Silent Disco?

Silent Disco (aka Quiet Clubbing) is a new way to party with more music variety and less yelling.

After the live band cocktail hour, all guests will put on a set of comfy headphones to listen to dance music. But they won’t all listen to just one DJ — that would be tired. This party will feature THREE DJs competing to spin the most extra dance mix and pack the dance floor.

Each guest can choose which DJ is their jam at that moment, and their headphone will show that DJ’s color so everyone (including the DJs) can see which one you are feeling.

What about when you want a break, or want to talk to your friends? Take off the headphones and chat. No yelling. Will you miss the yelling? We don’t think so.

What should I wear?

It’s a party! Dress to impress. Keep in mind it’s January and it will get warm with the dancing in the club.

There will be a coat area (not monitored) so you can hang up your winter coat.

Can I invite my friends?

Yes! This is a private party, but we do want our friends to bring their cool friends. As long as you know the invitees personally, and vouch for their good character, you can extend an invitation. All guests must be age 21 or older.

When is the party?

NEW YEAR’S EVE: Tuesday, December 31st from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
